A soft hole that should not take a toll on the golfer starts the round at Emerald Dunes. The Par 5 will get you warmed up and can produce a birdie. The hole moves gently to the right, but the right side should be avoided. Two lakes, numerous bunkers and trees line the right side and can cause problems. The ideal placement of the tee shot is left center. The first green is unusually large and demands accuracy in approaching the pin. This Par 5 can be reachable in two, depending on wind conditions.
