The finishing hole at Emerald Dunes is totally unique. One can't believe this dramatic hole is in South Florida, and yet, the views in all directions remind all that golf surrounds the "Super Dune". From any tee, the setting and waterfalls are visually pleasing and at the same time, the tee shot is visually terrifying. The only answer is to hit it straight between the bunker on the left and palms on the right, while avoiding the large lake short of the landing area.

A good tee shot will leave a long iron into a magnificent green setting with a green that is very deep and not terribly wide. The bunkering and rock outcroppings on the right are beautiful, but to be avoided.

It is only fitting that this strong Par 4 finish the round. From the tees niched into the "Super Dune" to the waterfalls which the cart path winds through to the landing area guarded by the large, glistening lake...and from the beach bunkers and rock outcroppings marching down the right side to the unusual green setting. This is a golf hole worth remembering.
Key requirements to tame this hole are sharp awareness of yardage, accurate club selection, and precise execution of shots. Enjoy the ride through the waterfalls after conquering this "double breaker".
