This solid Par 4 of medium length will help get the round going if properly played. The slight dogleg right can be exploited if the golfer can find the premier landing area to the left center of the fairway, while avoiding the bunkers on the right. The same can be said for the second shot to this left to right green, as the left side of the green is friendlier. The deep bunkers and bottlebrush tree to the right side of the green can be penal, so the best strategy is to stay left center all the way. This hole combines most of the elements of strategy that are mingled throughout the front nine at Emerald Dune.
