One really strong Par 5 that is guaranteed to test every golfer! This hole demands three well-struck, well-planned shots as it cannot realistically be reached in two.
Water runs the entire length of the hole along the left side and fronts the elevated green. In places, this hole is tight, and only the lower tier of the fairway on the left may save you from meeting your "Waterloo."
The best driving area is right center, avoiding the deep bunkers and dunes further right. The second shot must be strategically positioned to provide the best opening to this pin. A north wind can make this hole extremely difficult as can the back left pin position. There is ample lay-up area to the right if the third shot is too risky to carry the water.
This Par 5 demands great shotmaking if the player is to equal or better par.
